The infrastructure of the Omics Research Center
Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the Omics Research Center enables comprehensive analyses in the fields of metabolomics/lipidomics, proteomics/peptidomics, transcriptomics, and genomics.
The equipment includes state-of-the-art scientific instrumentation, including:
LC/MS/MS (triple quadrupole) – used for quantitative metabolomic, lipidomic, and peptidomic analyses
▪ Waters Xevo TQ Absolute UPLC/MS/MS
• LC/MS/MS - high-resolution mass spectrometers for qualitative analysis of the quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF) type
▪ Waters CYCLIC IMS nUPLC/UPLC/MS/MS high-resolution mass spectrometer equipped with a cyclic ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) module – proteomics, structural proteomics, protein post-translational modifications, peptidomics,
▪ Waters SYNAPT XS nUPLC/UPLC/MS/MS high-resolution mass spectrometer equipped with an ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) module – metabolomics, lipidomics, peptidomics, proteomics, tissue mapping using DESI techniques,
▪ Waters Xevo G2 nUPLC /UPLC/MS/MS - metabolomics, lipidomics, peptidomics
▪ Illumina MiSeq System - a lower-throughput sequencer designed primarily for gene panel sequencing
